What is ANU?

ANU, Hebrew for “we,” was formerly known as Beit Hatfutsot (the Museum of the Jewish Diaspora). It reopened in March 2021 after a renovation of about 100 million dollars that tripled its exhibition space. Rather than focusing only on history, ANU tells the story of Jewish identity, culture, migration and daily life around the world, from ancient times to today, using objects, art, film and interactive displays.
